Why narrative matters
Christine Rear is a painter based in Suffolk. Her work moves between oil on linen and mixed media on paper, rooted in coastal light, gardens, and the emotional weather of a day.
She exhibits regionally and sells originals and limited archival prints from her studio. Process matters as much as image: glazes, scrapes, and return visits until the piece tells the truth of the memory behind it.
